NS C40-9 8802,and NS SD60 6688.17G's engineer gave us 2 quick horn taps.SEPTA Express train 6378 passes under 17G with CabCar 2407 leading ang AEM-7 2301 taking up the rear.Nice horn on 2407 as well.

The afternoon action at Cresson on June 21, 2008 continues as SD70 2565 and C40-9 'Top Hat' 8813 roll trailers west. The C40-9s earned the 'Top Hat' name for their prominent roof-mounted air conditioners, and it looks like the 2565 has been similarly equipped. As the train approaches the signals change for the near track, telling of more to come.

Norfolk Southern's Lehigh Line.
NS 214 heads north with the usual intermodal consist. However the power consists of 3 GEs that don't have the wide cabs. NS 8763 C40-8, 8844 C40-9, and 8678 C39-8E provides the power. The c40-8 has a new coat of paint but I'm disappointed that NS couldn't provide the unit with a better sounding horn.
